Beckoning Romance

Such a unique combination for me. I knew I enjoyed the author's voice because I've read her other books. I knew I liked the DD aspect because I've read plenty of books that included it. What I wasn't so sure about was this Sci Fi genre. BUT... the author showed that no matter what world she writes in, she creates a great story. Loved this book.

I enjoyed this story. It had everything to make it a perfect romance and left me satisfied and smiling. You can't ask for much more.

I've been pulled into this series. It's a poignant story and I must know how it ends.

Great story telling. I'm completely immersed in these characters. The plot is complicated enough to keep readers guessing but infuses a sense of hope into each twist. Cliffhanger ending.

I enjoyed this story. It was well-written, intriguing with a sense of danger but still lightly romantic. The cover is beautiful too.

So intense. So painful. So beautiful. Jessica Sorensen is officially a master at dealing with realistic issues head-on and coming out of the story on the other side with a sense of redemption and hope. This isn't an easy read but those who like the New Adult genre would be remiss to skip over this gem of a book.

This was a quick read but it was good to see how life is working out for Bennett and Chloe. It was like the little mint after a satisfying meal. ;)

The characters were quirky. The story was complex but also playful. I enjoyed this book and plan to read the rest of the series.
